About 22B-D010C104
The Allen-Bradley 22B-D010C104 is an Adjustable Frequency AC drive. This drive is part of the PowerFlex 40 product family which is mainly used to implement speed control / regulation of AC motors. Not only that it implements speed control but it also provides motor protection during start-up, shutdown as well as during active and idle operation of the drive. It comes with fully programmable parameters to incorporate these protection features.
The 22B-D010C104 is capable of Sensorless Vector Control (SVC) and Volts / Hertz (V/F) control method. These control capabilities enable the drive to be installed in a variety of industrial applications such as Water and Wastewater, Heating Ventillation and Airconditioning (HVAC), Material transfer and handling, among others. This drive delivers output capabilities such as 0-480VAC, output current of 10.5 A and output Power of 4.0kW (5.0 HP).
This drive supports network configuration via the embedded RS485 communication interface. This interface supports daisy-chain topology wherein, up to 31 devices, including the master or programming device may be connected. Additionally, the 22B-D010C104 also supports ProfiBus, Ethernet, BACNet, MODBUS and LONWORX protocol.
For traditional remote operation, the 22B-D010C104 has a variety of input and output channels that supports hardwiring of I/O signals for remote control. These I/O interface section is composed of Three (3) fixed inputs, Four (4) programmable inputs, Two (2) individually isolated Analog Input, One (1) analog output, One (1) opto-coupler output and One (1) Form C contacts output channel. These I/O channels allow remote control which may be overridden by the embedded Human Interface Module (HIM) mounted on the device’ front panel.
The nonoperating shock is 50g. The operating vibration is 5g at 10-500 Hz. This module uses the IP66, NEMA/UL Type 4X enclosure. The Allen-Bradley 22B-D010C104 prevents unplanned downtime with advanced diagnostics. This module has safety features that protect personnel and assets. This module can also optimize your applications with various control technologies from open-loop speed regulation to torque and precise speed control. The Allen-Bradley 22B-D010C104 is only used in pollution-level 2 industrial environments, in Category II applications (as defined in the IEC 60664-1 manual). Remember that you can use this module at an altitude of up to 2000 meters without derating. This module is made to be flexible in order to stay connected during operation.
